Lagna Geet – Singing for a Cause

Since 2014, the sahiyar sisters have been carrying forward a unique tradition of Lagna Geet Seva across the South Gujarat region.
During the marriage season, our sisters visit different marriage occasions and lovingly present traditional Lagna Geet, adding joy, warmth and cultural beauty to these special celebrations.
What makes this initiative truly special is the spirit behind it.
The sisters dedicate their time, energy and singing talent throughout the entire marriage season. Whatever income or donations are received through these Lagna Geet programmes are fully utilized for charitable and social welfare activities of ASSCT.
Despite spending numerous days and considerable time travelling to different marriage occasions, the sisters do not take even a single rupee for themselves from the income generated through this activity.
They sing for celebrations, but their purpose is charity.
Through Lagna Geet Seva, a beautiful marriage tradition has been transformed into a meaningful source of support for charitable work.
